What is Bora Bora?


Bora Bora is one of the most beautiful places in the world with crystal clear, blue, luxurious waters. It is a very tiny island with an area of only 11.8 miles. It is part of French Polynesia located northwest of Tahiti. Bora Bora is on a dormant volcano island in the South Pacific Ocean.

Otemanu Mountain

  • Mount Otemanu is the highest point in Bora Bora at 2,835 feet
  • You can climb this mountain but only up to its shoulder's because the top is too steep and sharp
  • The top of the mountain is an extinct volcano that has formed into peaks, the top of Mount Otemanu and Mount Pahia

  • There is crystal clear, warm water and super soft sand

Bora Bora is one of the best locations for snorkelling because of the crystal clear water, allowing for maximum viewing. You are able to see many creatures such as, many different species of sharks, rays and fish, big sea turtles and even dolphins!

Food and Culture
